The word antisemitism means a prejudice and hatred towards Jewish individuals. Antisemitism is not a new trend, but has been occurring for centuries. Growing up, I have had my fair share of antisemitic actions directed at me and they were quite hurtful and scary. At a young age, around 7th grade, I was at school and had a swastika, with the word beware below it, held up to me. No one did anything. I have had people say nasty slurs, draw swastikas, state that my work about the Holocaust is not valid or important because I was not there, and many other incidences. This is my experience of the antisemitic treatment towards myself. The images below are graphic and offensive, but antisemitism is something that needs to be addressed.
